Pole and Heels Dance Studio

Facts & Questions

Q. How much space do you need?
A. Not much! Remember, it’s just you. Stand with your arms stretched out to the sides, take one step to the side, now to the other side, now take a step forwards and backwards. That’s really all you need!

Q. Do I need a computer?
A. No, you can make it work with a phone, you can make your teacher the main focus of your screen. If you have a tablet or computer that is encouraged.

Q. For AOS: I’m in a space where I can’t wear heels, is that ok?
A. Yes. Heels are encouraged for online but because this is new territory, we all need to make it work. Remember you can always wear a thick, chunky, rubber heel too-these are quiet on any floor.

Q: What if I am not “tech-savy”?
That is OK, our team of instructors is here to help, and if you have any questions beforehand do not hesitate to email meg@thegoddessmovement.com

Q: For live classes, do I need the Zoom app?
A: if you are using your phone, the app is required. If you are on a laptop, all you need is access to a web browser like Internet Explorer, Safari or Chrome.

Social distancing rules don’t seem to be going away any time soon according to government officials…this is our new, current normal; so we will do our best to continue to support our students in every way possible.

Connection is important, if you’re looking to maintain a schedule, a form of normalcy and still be part of a community, registration is open for several online courses, including the Spring session of @armyofsassabbotsford.
